Our orders are shipped using FedEx. When placing an order you must provide us with your complete street address in the Shipping Information section of the checkout form. Unfortunately, our carrier cannot deliver to PO boxes.
Shipping charges are calculated online in real-time using quotes from our carrier. These amounts are estimates and are not always indicative of what we will actually be charged by our carrier in certain cases. In cases where the shipping cost will be more than the amount quoted at the time of your order, you will always be contacted with the actual shipping cost before your order is shipped. At this time you will have the option of either confirming or cancelling your order.
In certain cases it may be less costly for us to ship your order using an alternative carrier. In such cases your order total will be adjusted and we will charge you the lesser shipping fee.
Certain large or irregular items requiring special delivery arrangements and cannot have their shipping calculated online. You will be notified before completing your order when purchasing such items. In these cases we will contact you with details before your order is shipped, and you will always have the option of confirming or cancelling your order before it is shipped.
From time to time we offer free shipping on orders over a certain amount. These offers are valid for our carrier's base ground service only, and do not apply to other shipping methods. Certain items do not qualify for free shipping discounts and will be charged the standard fee.
Orders for in-stock items are generally shipped within 24–72 hours from the receipt of your order and payment. Orders received after 3:00 PM EST may be processed the next business day. Orders for custom or special-order products may require additional lead time, and orders containing out-of-stock items will be shipped when the entire contents of your order is available. You will be contacted with an approximate ship date in these cases.
Shipping time depends upon the destination address. Delivery time estimates are not a guarantee and are provided only for your convenience. They indicate our carrier's best estimate of the time in transit (in business days) after the shipment leaves our place of business. Unfortunately we have no control over their accuracy, or over delays in shipping resulting from the carrier. Delivery estimates do not include our lead time in preparing your order. However for rush shipments we will make every effort to ship the order by the next business day.
Shipping costs to Alaska, Hawaii, & APO/FPO addresses outside the contiguous 48 United States may require special handling or additional charges. You will be contacted before we ship your order to confirm any additional charges.
International orders cannot be processed online. Please contact us for a shipping quote and to place your order.
Choosing a Delivery Date:
If you would like to specify a future delivery date, you can do so during checkout. Scroll down where it reads "Choosing Shipping Method".
Please keep the following in mind when choosing a date:
Delivery is available Tuesday through Friday. $20 added charge for Saturday deliveries - please call for Saturday deliveries. We currently do not offer delivery on Sunday and Monday, due to limited FedEx weekend delivery availability.
Signature Release:
Our packages are shipped with a signature release. FedEx will not require a signature for your shipment.
Private Residences:
FedEx will leave the package at your home if no one is available to receive it.
Apartments and Condos:
Please be aware that FedEx shipments to apartments and condos must be received by a person, or have an office (front desk) where the package may be left. **If you are sending the package as a gift, please notify the gift recipient that a FedEx delivery will be arriving, so that they can watch for it and take it inside when it has been delivered.
Packaging:
All seafood is packaged in specially designed insulated foam boxes with frozen gel packs. The foam box is set in a corrugated box for shipment. All packages are packed very carefully to prevent damage during shipping.
Delivery Availability:
Please be aware that situations may occur that affect delivery availability. All fresh seafood comes directly from fishing boat captains and the supply is not guaranteed. Also, major holidays and weather conditions may affect delivery availability. We will contact you promptly, if we can not fulfill your delivery request.
Holiday Schedule:
We recommend that you place your order as far in advance as possible for holiday orders.
